We just got back from Big Sky, Montana yesterday and we already want to go back! This was actually our second time there, we also went last year with a group of friends. If you have never been to Big Sky, it is a definite MUST for a ski vacation! They have the largest skiing area in the U.S. which is amazing because all of the ski runs are empty! It’s literally like having your own mountain.

After we did a few runs, we wanted to take a little break (and get a drink- obvi!) We found a bar, Everett’s, on the top of the mountain (an altitude of 8800 feet), with incredible views of Lone Mountain, that served delicious cocoa-coffee-bourbon drinks, called Montana Coffee. The music was pumping, the energy was all around with people drinking, people falling from the ski lift and the sun was shining!

After skiing, everyone in Big Sky goes to an Apres-Ski festivity (in case you’re wondering, Apres-Ski literally means an after skiing social activity.) Our lodge at the Spanish Peaks Mountain Club had a s’mores bar set up with about six different flavors of marshmallows and all the toppings to go with them! Accompanied by live music of course.

The town of Big Sky is REALLY small, it will take you exactly 5 minutes to walk through the town center, so they are very limited on restaurants. Our absolute favorite was the BBQ one called, The Riverhouse. Another must go to place to visit on your trip!
