You know how everyone always gets so excited (or depressed) for Valentine’s Day depending on whether or not they have a boyfriend? NOT US! We love spending Valentine’s Day with each other and with our family. Back in college, our mom used to send us surprise Valentine’s Day packages filled with chocolates, new bras (LOL) and whatever other cute pink and red things she could find 🙂 It was so sweet and thoughtful of her, we’re kind of hoping we get a surprise package this year (wink wink mom!)
We don’t go over the top with our outfits on this day either. This year, we wanted to keep our pinks and reds to a minimal so we both choose a blush piece. The color is festive for Valentine’s Day but not too themed. Anna choose a blush pink sweater dress from Shopbop with cute details on the sleeves that lace up and I choose a really soft cold shoulder sweater by Rebecca Taylor with Joe’s white skinny ankle jeans. Since we didn’t go to themed, both of these looks are great to wear on any other night also!
Since we both choose light colored outfits, we wanted to add some contrast and depth with black over the knee boots and booties. We also added our limited edition Louis Vuitton’s because we can’t live without them 🙂 For sunglasses, Anna is wearing our Jessi sunnies in gold and grey and I’m wearing our split lens Alix sunnies in matte gold and blush pink.
Which look do you love for a Valentine’s Day date night?! Leave us a comment and shop both of our looks below!
